Meet the Board: Devin Middlebrook

Introducing our new blog thread, Meet the Board! Each month we will feature a new Tahoe Regional Young Professionals board member and give you an inside view of why we love TRYP so much!

Our first board member spot light is on our Executive Director, Devin Middlebrook!

Question 1: What is your favorite thing about TRYP?

D: The best thing about TRYP are the new friendships I have formed with people I met at mixers and membership outings. It is also great to have a way to give back to the community.

Question 2: Since TRYP is all about Professional Networking, where do you work in Tahoe?

D: I am the sustainability program coordinator for the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency. I get to work on really cool projects that help protect Lake Tahoe. 

Question 3: How long have you been a member, and what inspired you to join?

D: I have been a member of TRYP for four years and on the board for three. I was inspired to join when I moved back to Tahoe after college and wanted to meet people and re-join the community. 

Question 4: When did you move to Tahoe and what brought you here?

D: I was born and raised in South Lake Tahoe, I am lucky enough to still be here!

Question 5: Where is your all-time favorite place to eat in town?

D: So many good options. Chimayo Tacos y Tortas is a current favorite. Lucky Beaver or the Classic Cue if I am craving a burger. 

Question 6: When you’re not working, what do you typically enjoy doing around Tahoe on a nice day?

D: Same thing everyone in Tahoe enjoys, getting outdoors and enjoying the place we call home.
