Executive Director

Devin Middlebrook, Tahoe Regional Planning Agency

Devin Middlebrook was born and raised in South Lake Tahoe and is the sustainability program coordinator for the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency. Devin earned his bachelors degree in business administration from Chico State and went on to receive his MBA from Sacramento State. Growing up in Tahoe gave Devin an appreciation for the environment and getting outdoors. Devin is inspired to give back to his hometown and create a prosperous community.

 

 


 

Operations Director

Julia Requarth, Marketing Manager; FATCO

Julia Requarth was born and raised in The Woodlands, Texas and moved out west to study business at Pepperdine University where she earned an M.B.A. with a focus in sports and tourism marketing. She developed a love for the mountains going on ski trips with her family as a child and spending her weekends in college at Big Bear. It was this passion for the mountains that drove her to Park City, Utah where she was the Marketing Manager for the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Team foundation. She moved to Lake Tahoe after landing a marketing job with Vail Resorts at Heavenly Mountain Resort. She is currently working for FATCO, a locally based skincare company. She is passionate about improving the job market for young professionals in Lake Tahoe. In her spare time, she enjoys doing anything outside and is currently on a quest to summit the highest point in each state.

 


 

Events Director

Amber Goligoksi, Lake Tahoe Community College

Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area she developed a love for Tahoe through family vacations. Passionate about family (including her four legged fur babies), friends and food, Amber started in customer service and hospitality as a teenager. After moving to Tahoe in 2004 for a one season adventure in the snow she decided to make the mountains her home. Her local claim to fame is being voted Best Server by the Tahoe Daily Tribune. She has been employed by large ski resorts, hotels and small cafes in Sonoma, Florida and Tahoe. Currently she uses her talents at Lake Tahoe Community College in the Work Experience and Internship Office and as a Banquet Captain at Lake Tahoe Golf Course. In addition to the Tahoe Regional Young Professionals, Amber is a graduate of the Leadership Lake Tahoe program with the Chamber of Commerce.

Troy Matthews, Executive Director; Barton Foundation 

Troy was born in the Bay Area and raised in Los Angeles. He holds a master’s degree in political science from George Washington University. Troy came to Tahoe with his wife to honeymoon one summer and decided not to leave. He’s a devout Lakers fan, unfortunately. Other hobbies include cooking with the aforementioned wife, playing with their little corgi, kayaking, winning trips to Hawaii, and Directing Civic Engagement for young professionals organizations. Troy is proud to have been recently elected to the Board of Education for the Lake Tahoe Unified School District.

Hannah Marzocco, Executive Director; First 5 Alpine 

Hannah Marzocco grew up in the mountains of Colorado and now has established her home nestled in the Sierras. Hannah holds a Masters in Education and Administrative Leadership from Sierra Nevada College; she comes from a background in women and gender studies, youth development, community advocacy, nonprofit management, and systems thinking. Beyond her professional roles, Hannah volunteers for Court Appointed Special Advocates and is a member of the 17-18 Leadership Lake Tahoe class. Hannah is an avid Ashtanga yoga practitioner and culinary enthusiast: she loves to cook, wine taste, and travel in search of new and innovative restaurants. Hannah is invested in uplifting the community and blessed to set down roots in Tahoe with her husband Joe and crazy dog, Taylor.

 

 


 

Marketing Director

Kelsey Magoon, Project Coordinator; South Tahoe Drug Free Coalition

Kelsey was born and raised in the Bay Area before moving to South Lake Tahoe for “just one winter” in 2014. She graduated from Chico State in 2013, where she received her bachelor’s degree in Health Science. Her passion for helping others lead to her current position as the project coordinator for the South Tahoe Drug Free Coalition, where she prevents youth substance use.

In her free time, she enjoys various outdoor activities such as hiking, skiing, yoga, wakeboarding, biking and playing volleyball on the beach. You can also find her socializing with friends for good food around the lake watching a Sharks hockey game. She is currently a member for the 2017-2018 Leadership Lake Tahoe Program with the Chamber of Commerce.

Kelsey Adams, Tattoo Artist/Manager, JM INKorporated & Model

Kelsey Adams is a born and raised South Lake Tahoe native. She is a Music and Entertainment Business Manager, specializing in Marketing, Social Media Management, Promotions and Events. She got her degree in Psychology from Sacramento State.

She enjoys her work touring and being involved in the Industry but loves being active in the community. She loves volunteering for many local organizations such as Live Violence Free and Keep Tahoe Blue. “My soul tells the perfect story, my mind plays a picture, but it’s my heart that remembers the details.”- Me

Felicity Monsees, Barton Memorial Hospital

Felicity works full-time for Barton Memorial Hospital

as a rehab aide on their Integrated Rehab services team, she is also pursuing her degree in Occupational Therapy. On top of it all she also owns her own marketing and consulting business- putting to use her years of working for top startups in Chico, CA.

After living in the mountains North of Lassen for four years, moving back to the valley and Chico was clearly not in the cards- especially with one too many Summer days over 120℉. She quickly applied to rehab jobs all over the mountains of Northern California, Nevada, and Southern Oregon. In a matter of days she had an interview in South Lake and checked out the area for the first time ever… She quickly fell in love with the area and immediately accepted the job she was offered. As she puts it: She has found her forever home, and she plans to die here (aka live out the rest of her life here).

She is deeply passionate about this community and wants to do all she can to help promote growth here. In addition to her work at the hospital Felicity volunteers on multiple TRYP committees, with Girl Scouts as a troop co-leader,  as well as volunteering for

various non-profits in town. Felicity is the first to volunteer to help out with any worthy cause that crosses her path- she just wants to Love on the community that has given her so much more than just a place to call home.

Brandi Brown, Owner of Tahoe Production House

Brandi was born and raised in Lake Tahoe is the owner of Tahoe Production House,  a Full Service Creative Agency.  She is currently sitting on the Advisory Board for Tahoe Regional Young Professionals, Barton Foundation Board, and Boys and Girls Club Board, as well as involved in many community organizations.  Brandi holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in film and television production from Loyola Marymount University.  For fun, she enjoys hanging with her husband Dan, her daughter Kalirae, and their doggies Leo, Peanut, and Casey in this beautiful place we call home, Tahoe.

 

 


 

Lyndsay Bryant, Lake Tahoe Boat Rides, Owner; Lake Tahoe Sitters, Owner; Red Door Previews, Realtor

Lyndsay Bryant has dreamed of living in Lake Tahoe since she was a child and made her dream come true after graduating from San Diego State University with a degree in Business Management. She has worked with her husband to start two small local businesses and is also a local Real Estate Agent.  Lake Tahoe Boat Rides is a sightseeing and watersports charter Boat Company, and Lake Tahoe Sitters specializes in mobile childcare for vacationing and local families. Lyndsay takes full advantage of the Tahoe outdoor lifestyle and enjoys, waterskiing, boating, hiking, backpacking, snowboarding and skiing with her husband, Steve, and two dogs, Timber and Meadow. She is a cofounder of the Tahoe Regional Young Professionals.

 


 

Brent Goligoski, South Tahoe Public Utility District

Brent is a staff engineer for South Tahoe Public Utility District. Originally from Southwest Montana, he made frequent trips to Tahoe to visit Grandpa growing up and was not surprised to get “stuck” here after spending summers working for the City of South Lake Tahoe Parks Department while earning a Civil Engineering degree from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. He spent three years managing heavy civil construction projects for Thomas Haen Company gaining the experience necessary to move up to engineering design. Brent strives to enjoy every day throughout the community through serving in the public sector on the clock and spending off the clock time relishing skiing, paddleboarding, his two dogs, never ending house projects and most importantly, his beautiful niece, Olivia.

 


 

Jenna Palacio, Barton Health Public Relations

JP_headshotA self-proclaimed wine geek and social media addict, Jenna Palacio brings character and passion to the Board of the Tahoe Regional Young Professionals. Jenna, a small business owner herself, is a staunch supporter of the next generation of Lake Tahoe’s business community. She moved to South Lake Tahoe after earning a Communications degree from UC Davis and starting her career in the Sacramento region.

Jenna was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area but finds Lake Tahoe’s lifestyle and way of doing business a great fit for her career. When not snowboarding, cooking, paddleboarding or relaxing on the beach with her husband and two dogs, Jenna runs a freelance communications and marketing practice in addition to being an adjunct faculty member at Lake Tahoe Community College.

Fun facts about Jenna: she moved away from Lake Tahoe to be the Communications Director at the Monterey County Convention & Visitors Bureau and served on the board of the Central Coast Tourism Council, chairing its Social Media Committee. Now a homeowner on the South Shore, Jenna sits on the Lake Tahoe Visitor Authority’s Marketing Advisory Committee andSouth Lake Tahoe Planning Commission.

Jenn Boyd Viral Visionary (aka Account Executive), a veteran holding down the offensive line at Weidinger Public Relations since Feb. 2007, uses her special powers; ok her strategic vision to manage social and traditional media relations efforts for the firm. She’s been the driving force to integrate social media platforms into existing campaigns; launching mobile apps for clients; staying current or ahead of the curve on trends; event planning; writing; client relations and media outreach/pitching efforts for WPR. Jenn continues bring tangible media coverage and results for clients such as Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority, Ridge Tahoe Resort, Operation Sierra Storm, Amgen Tour of California, and Tahoe Transportation District.
